Gen Y: Ride-Sharing Attitude & Usage Trends

Abstract

Every developed civilization needs a reliable transportation system. Without a convenient, reasonably priced, and secure transportation infrastructure, urban life will be intolerable and unlivable. A quick-emerging 21st-century invention called ride-sharing service (RSS) makes it possible to request transportation services using privately owned automobiles, generally using a mobile app backed by internet access. Ridesharing is one of the major indications of economic success in developing nations like Bangladesh, along with other advancements in the transportation and communication sectors. Due to their capacity to reduce traffic congestion and the number of automobiles on the road, ride-sharing services play a significant role in social, economic, sustainability, and environmental challenges.
