Tesla is being asked to provide data in regard to the, from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. (NHTSA) with a deadline of October 22. Elon Musk has said that Tesla will release a software, Full Self-Driving software on September 10. NHTSA is investigating the crashes Tesla has been involved in, from parked emergency vehicles to other damages. Tesla is to provide the list of the vehicle’s technology, including hardware and software of the vehicle in addition to the information involving the vehicle’s accidents. The details of the autopilot is to include the maximum steering and rates of acceleration and braking. Other information which the list should include consists of the following: how and when the drive can override the functions of the software and how the software can interact with the driver.
