Abstract

Mobile Aerial Inventory has been revolutionized by the onset of advances in RFID, computational, and sensing technologies. Warehouse today are operated on dedicated management systems that include Wireless Network Systems. Drones can function as mobile reader devices tracking inventory by localizing commercial off the shelf RFID tags. This paper concentrates on the working mechanisms of range-based methods that are specifically striving to improve accuracy of localization of RFID tags using mobile readers (drones).
