Abstract

The previous dealt with the history and the transition of the MRP system to MRP II system along with the advantages of planning and scheduling resources which would be available in the ERP System. Communication between the various departments in a company is an important aspect of any industry and by adapting to ERP System this can be ensured. The next challenge faced is the accuracy of the information shared, like any other system ERP system is also plagued by the accuracy of the information given or available for use. For resolving this issue, the Auto ID system is used so that the information available in the ERP System is accurate. This part/section of the paper deals with the various aspects of the ERP System implementation such as Factors affecting the ERP implementation, Recommended Steps for implementation along with the components in the RFID system and comparison of data capture technologies available. The most important aspect this paper deals with is the Research questions and objectives. These were segregated into three specific aims such as (1) Questionnaire Development (2) Perceived Impact of the RFID on ERP Data (3) Identify better predictor model. A hypothesis testing scenario was developed to test whether there is an impact or effect on the dependent variables when there is a change in the independent variable.
